Grandma Ruth time!

Tinker's twin was already gone and there were only two cats left, a sick looking male and an even sicker looking ugly, ugly female. I never knew that kittens could look ugly, but this one was like some alien creature. The nice thing for me, who was extremely embarrassed over what happened is that the regular worker was not there, I think she is having a baby, so I didn't have to tell the replacements that I'd just lost a kitten- the cutest kitten ever! so sad. Ivan will be disappointed, but I think it's for the best. I think Saba needs some time to settle and also mom is here and thinks she may be allergic. I'd also like for Brian to return and maybe get back to taking Saba on walks.

I would like to take her for some walks, but right now I've messed up my knee pretty good again, by overwalking while Brian is gone, but how can you justify driving 20 blocks when it's so gorgeous and more effort to get kids in and out of the van than to just walk there! Right now mom left with Dominique to get Ivan from school and maybe my knee can rest up a bit.

These are pictures from the party we went to. Emora loved every game, even when the big kids didn't want to bob for apples- she did! All three loved the food related games/activities.

Brian is now hanging out with some of my favorite people in the world!

I drove the girls and mom to a gorgeous more secluded beach only to find out the fence on it is locked all winter, so we went to a park in town and it was so lovely playing in the sand, swinging, going on the slide. The most amazing thing happened while we were there. We heard a whole flock of geese calling out, then located them in the sky and it was easily 200 or more birds, in the most amazing formations. They had V like shapes and the sun would shine off them, they looked like a glimmering, diamond several stranded necklace constantly changing shape in the blue sky. I've never seen anything like it. I so appreciate all the breathtaking moments that remind me of the beautiful home the Lover has created for us to inhabit.

Say, "Hi," to your mom for me.
