Here's one to make you laugh. I told Ivan not to sit in the bouncy seat. As you can see, he is "obeying".

Emora slept 9 hours last night and I got 8 hours! Felt so great. I'm giving her some rice cereal before bed time. If she sleeps through the night tonight, that will have been 3 in a row and I will move her to her own room ;) Yeah. Now I may even be able to survive my days without a nap, which means that I may be able to get some things done, or just one on one time with Ivan. He's waiting for me to play settlers of Catan with him as I type, so I better get off this thing. It's a grown up game, but we've found that a lot of games can be played with them if we just simplify it and do a few shortcuts. I think all these games really help him with organization and abstract thought, math, planning... He can already do simple adding, like 2+3. He amazes me all the time!
From the video archives! Imogen and Dominique swinging...
What do you like to do when you get a long weekend?

That picture of Ivan in the bouncy seat is hilarious!!!
We've always played the grown-up games with Abbey too. And just change the rules as she gets older. Now she can play nearly all of them with us with the real rules and it's a lot of fun!
We are getting a grill today, and planting some flowers/veggies this weekend. We have a much later start than you warmer weather folks! Hope you have a great weekend!
Yeah! I love you guys SO much! Thanks for making the craft day fun for us. We will see you soon.
What's my favorite thing to do on a long week end? Visit my grandchildren!! How about this next week end? Yeah!! Love the jumpy chair "hat" Ivan, and balloon catcher Dominique and especially the sleeping Emora.
I see that you have changed the tire swing to an ordinary one and put a chair swing in the middle. It looks much more practical.
We moved the tire swing to the middle since it swings 360 and I didn't want anyone smashing their heads into the fort's posts.
The tire swing can be removed and replaced with the baby swing. Emora is too small for it now, but Imogen used it well.
