They are easier to detect after the fact. They are uncanny encounters, brushes with the supernatural, where the presence of the Lover accompanies us in a very real way, sheltering, directing, loving, moving, giving life to our everyday existence. You can't totally explain the experience, but you leave shaken to the very depths, knowing that you have been kissed by the Divine.

Glimpses from the party
We went to another one year old birthday party earlier in the week. They played children lullabies and songs. I guess they didn't have Brian as their DJ. Dominique really got into her birthday music while I got games ready.
Ivan still can't make a hard "K" sound. You don't realize how many words have that sound in it. Here are some things he says.
Daddy drints toffee.
The tat got out.
Let's go in the tar.
I want some milt.

Did you have any troubles with letters as a kid? Our neighbor (age 11) was playing a game with us and couldn't figure out left from right. She held up her fingers in L shapes with both hands and asked which one is the L? I asked her which hand she wrote with, then told her that she WRITES with her RIGHT. Hopefully that will work better than the L trick. I always thought that trick worked good until I saw kids trying to use it.

Great videos and Great music!
I don't remember any trouble with any particular letters but one of my kids had to go to speech therapy for trouble with where to place the tongue due to a lisp. The specialist helped a great deal.
I had one kid who had to go to a special reading class but I don't think I'll mention who . . .
(The third u-tube picture wouldn't load up.)
I see that Dominique was perplexed at what was going on. Of course, she will never even remember her first birthday, but the parents and grandparents get a kick out of it.
