It's always a joy when family comes and having a child seems to attract family ;) Nana came from Houston for a quick trip to meet her first grandaughter. It is so amazing to me how much it helps to have an extra person to help. Both Dominique and Ivan are enjoying her attention and we are getting treated too.
Our little treasure got her own birthday cake from Big Buddy. He made it in his special heart shaped pan. So if it's for her and she eats at momma's, does momma eat it for her? ha, ha.
Nana brought tons of gifts from friends in Houston. Thank you to all these dear people who showered us with clothes, books, toys...Ivan enjoyed some toys for the big brother too and really got a kick out of the ball we made from all the wrapping trash. Isn't that just like a kid?
I haven't asked a question in a while... what is your favorite memory with a grandparent?

Looks like Ivan is having fun indeed! Grandparents love to spoil don't they? I can't wait to be the Grandma, play, spoil, play, spoil then hand them back when they cry! No wonder Grandmas are always so happy! Enjoy the lavish attention!
Dominique is so beautiful and big! I don't think Harrison was her size until he was about 3 mos old! He was tiny at only 6 1/2lbs, then lost that 1/2lb and looked like a preemie, all of his newborn clothes would fall off of him and he didn't wear 3 mos clothes until he was about 6 mos old. I noticed today that his bathing suit is size 18 mos and he's now 4 yrs old!!! Maybe Ivan can hand his clothes down to Harrison!!!!
